Isaac Timothy Vick

January 21, 2007 - August 15, 2026

Isaac T. Vick, 19, of Spring Grove / Dorchester died unexpectedly Saturday, August 15.

Isaac was born January 21, 2007 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Tim and DeeDee (Valadez) Vick. Isaac grew up attending the Spring Grove Schools, where he participated in several activities including trap shooting and football, graduating in 2025. He recently attained his private pilot certificate and had planned to further his pilot training at UND. Isaac had worked at Upper Iowa Resort, Wold Strawberries, Sam’s Club, UPS in Decorah, and for his uncle, Brian. He was loyal and true to his roots and had determination and drive to do the best he could. Isaac enjoyed flying, weightlifting and nutrition, playing cards, gaming, being the music man while hanging with friends, and his dog, Lizzy.

Isaac is survived by his parents Tim and DeeDee of Dorchester; grandparents Gerald and Darlene Schwartzhoff of Dorchester and Roger and Randi Vick of Caledonia; aunts and uncles Brenda and Bill Franken of Rochester, Brian and Jackie Vick of Caledonia, Mike (Shelly) Schwartzhoff of Decorah, Greg (Paula) Schwartzhoff of Dorchester, Michelle (Steve) Pladsen of Waterville, Iowa, Kim (Gail) Hakes of Sauk City, Wisconsin, Kerri (Scott) Johanningmeier of Decorah, Mary (Matt) Driscoll of Cedar Falls, Robin (Shawn) Bartell of Decorah, Dawn Schuttemeier of Caledonia, Stacy (Tony) Caldwell of Fort Atkinson; special great aunt Lynda Gorder of Peterson; and numerous cousins and extended family members.  He was preceded in death by grandparents Roger and Helen (Dragvold) Valadez; and an uncle, Travis Vick.

Funeral service will be 1 pm, Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Trintiy Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. Burial will be in the Waterloo Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m., Friday, August 21st at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove and 11am - 12:30 pm, Saturday prior to the service at the church.

Memorials are preferred in Lieu of flowers
