John L. Fay, 83, of Canton, Minnesota died Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Green Lea Senior Living in Mabel.
John was born May 10, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to Everett and Eunice (Miller) Fay. He graduated from the Canton High School and drove truck for road construction and area farmers. He was fond of the several pets he had over the years. He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church in Canton, and enjoyed cars, fishing, doing mechanic work, and collecting antiques.
John is survived by two brothers Donald (Leslie) of Henderson, Nevada, and Tom (Rita) of Sierra Vista, Arizona; a sister Karla (Charlie) Warner of Canton; nieces Megan Warner, Cindy(Ben) Berry, Andrea (Micah) Broadhead; and nephew Christopher (Sherri) Fay. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Eunice.
A private funeral will be held at the Assumption Catholic Church in Canton. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Canton.
