Scott Philip Willert, age 57, of Lanesboro, Minnesota passed away on January 29, 2026. Scott was born in Austin, Minnesota to Ronald and Eddamae Willert.
Scott was an avid outdoorsman who loved working with horses and dogs. One of his lifelong dreams was to go dog sledding. He was quiet and kind, but also stubborn like his father. Scott was very close to his family, who will dearly miss him.
Scott is survived by his mother, Eddamae of Mabel; a sister Dawn Barclay of St. James, Minnesota; nieces and nephews Matthew, Lucian, Tasha, Christian, and Kelsey; and twelve great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald.
Burial will be in Austin, Minnesota at a later date.
