Donalda “Donnie” Weinmann, 66, of Hesper passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 at her home.
Donnie was born in St. Charles, Illinois to Lawrence and Pauline Lyman. When she was 9 the family moved to Oregon where she attended the Estacada High School and Clackamas Community College. On September 12, 1979 she married Russell Weinmann at the Church of Christ in Milwaukie, Oregon. In 1987 they moved to the Hesper area and have resided there since. Russ and Donnie were members of the former Hesper Friends Church and she enjoyed cross stitch, word puzzles, and playing The Sims 4.
Donnie survived by her husband, Russell; a son Matt; and brother George. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Delores, Violet, Jim, Dave, Bob, and Eugene.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm on Monday, August 11th, at the Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel. Burial will be in the Hesper Public Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
