Barbara Jean McCabe, 78, of Mabel, died Friday, November 3rd surrounded by her family at her home.
Barb was born August 31, 1945 in Spring Grove to Knute V. and Lillian (Haakenson) Hagen.
She married Loren McCabe on June 10, 1963. They were blessed with three children Jeff, Joel, and Lori. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, their trips to Bullhead City Arizona, and morning coffee with the “girls”.
Barb is survived by her husband Loren of Mabel; three children Jeff (Rhonda) of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, Joel (Curtis) of Guaymas Sonora, Mexico, and Lori (Joel) Casterton of Franksville, Wisconsin; five grandsons Brendan (Kayla), Ryan (Shari), Mateo, Drew, and Will; six great grandchildren Eloise, Macsen, Theo, Brecken, Callen, and Soren; her siblings Lorraine (Ray) Wickett, George (Joanne) Hagen, and Karl (Barbara) Hagen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James.
A memorial service will be 11 am., Friday, November 10th at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Mabel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. |
