Beckett Jon Buckland, son of Morgan (Van Minsel) and Shawn Buckland of Spring Grove was born into the arms of the angels Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at WinnMed in Decorah, Iowa.
Also left to mourn his anticipated arrival are his big brothers Brecken, Barrett, and Bentley; maternal grandparents Jeanette Paul of Mabel, and Gary and Lia Van Minsel of Spring Grove; paternal grandparents Renee Giblin of Wabasha and Tim Buckland of Spring Grove; great grandparents Gary and Sue Morken of Mabel, Elaine Van Minsel of Spring Grove, Jim and Liz Klug of Caledonia, and Bob and Shirley Giblin of Caledonia; and aunts and uncles Collin, Garrison, Carter, and Gaberial Van Minsel, Tim Buckland, Jr., Brandi Thillen, and Amanda Thillen; and several great aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded by maternal great-grandfather Leo Van Minsel, paternal great-grandmother Florian “Flip” Cairns, and special cousin Dylan Delaney.
A private family service will be held. Friends can greet the family from 5 - 7 on Friday, October 27 at the St. Olaf Catholic Church in Mabel. |
