Kevin Richard Hansen, 61, of rural Canton, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 16, 2022 at his home.
Kevin was born October 17, 1961 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Harold and Janiece (Peckham) Hansen. He graduated from the Lacrescent High School. He lived in South St. Paul, operating Diversified Communications. In 2003 he moved to rural Canton where he worked for Mediacom. In 2005 he married Georgeanne Schultz. Kevin was later employed at Hy View Feeds in rural Mabel. Kevin enjoyed tinkering and fixing.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Georgeanne of Canton; two sons Justin Schultz of South St. Paul and Keith (Abbie Smith) of Decorah, Iowa; his mother Janiece Newton; step-mother Judy Hansen; siblings Ken Hansen, Gayle Hansen, Vickie Hansen, Paula (Eric) Weeden Randy Mathison, and Tom Hansen; several nieces and nephews; and many in-laws. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kaitlyn Helene Hansen; his father; and a sister; Valerie Ann Hansen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
