Paul Bouska, 92 years old, of Canton MN peacefully passed March 10, 2022, into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior.
Paul was born October 25, 1929, to Ray and Grace Bouska. He so loved his parents and his dear sister Pearl.
Paul was a man of faith; he enjoyed reading the Bible and times spent at the Assumption Catholic Church and in worship. He had a big heart and was a humble, kind, and caring person to everyone he met. He loved his neighbors, community, and his country. He loved watching Western movies, reading books, and learning new things with farming, gardening, and inventions. He was proud of his farm and all of his accomplishments. He enjoyed his beloved dogs and loyal companions Sparky and Holly; they were very special to him. Paul also loved his dear friend Steve and all the times they spent together.
Paul was very gifted in writing poems and he was most proud when “Words from the Bible” was published in the Fillmore County Journal on April 27, 2020:
“Words from the Bible” by: Paul Bouska
Sweeter than honey, more precious than gold”
Are words from the Bible or so I’ve been told.
Words from the Bible make me feel fine.
Yes, words from the Bible are sweeter than wine.
Whenever I need a new goal, words from the Bible bring peace to my soul.
What have you done for your brothers or sisters today?
What can I say? I was so busy I pushed them away.
By reading my Bible day after day, I seem to be reading my troubles away.
So what will I do? Just for today, I’ll let His sweet love sweep my troubles away.
Paul was loved by anyone who knew him and he will be missed dearly by his friend Steve Geving, many friends from the Assumption Catholic Church and community, and his family.
A special thanks to the volunteers from “Meals on Wheels” for bringing joy to Paul’s days with your meals and visits.
The Rosary will be said at 5:30 pm, Friday, March 25th at the Assumption Hall in Canton, Minnesota.
