JEANETTE R. INGLETT

July 15, 1926 - August 28, 2020

Jeanette was born July 15, 1926 in the Burr Oak, Iowa area to Miles and Valeda (Murdock) Wilbur.  She attended area country schools and graduated from the Canton High School in 1945.  On February 21, 1948 she married Arden Inglett in Decorah, Iowa.  They lived in the Winneshiek County, Iowa and Fillmore County areas until 1963 when they moved to a farm near Mabel. She was a member of the Burr Oak Methodist Church where she had been active with Ladies Aid and Sunday School, and the American Legion Auxiliary.  Arden passed away March 31, 2009.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, babysitting for area children, mowing the lawn, working in her garden, taking care of the animals, playing cards, and playing games.  If there was a baby around, Jeanette was usually holding it!

Jeanette passed away  Friday, August 28, 2020 at Gundersen Harmony Care Center at the age of 94.

Jeanette is survived by two children, David (Audrey) of Mabel, and Darlyne (Ed) Dahle of Ellendale, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Samantha Inglett of Rochester, Desiree (Burke) Latten of Rushford, Minnesota, Daniel (Amy) Inglett of Kimball, Minnesota, Dacia Inglett of Mabel, Emily Dahle of St. Louis Park, Minnesota,  Matthew (Karen) Dahle of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Gabriel Dahle of Ellendale; four great grandchildren Keagan and Makenna Inglett, and Sean and Harper Latten; a sister Beverly Brenno of Rochester, Minnesota; a sister-in-law VaLois Wilbur of Chatfield, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arden; a son, Dennis; an infant daughter, Delores; sisters, Eleanor Dinger, Marguerite Soiney, and Audrey Stead; and a brother, Ronald Wilbur.

Graveside services will be 2 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in the Prosper Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM Monday, August 31 at the Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel. COVID-19 precautions will be in place.
