Marcellus was born January 6, 1937 in Waukon, Iowa. He graduated from the Spring Grove High School. He married Mary Ann Rasmussen and they lived and farmed in the Dorchester area until moving to Mabel. Mary Ann died October 1, 2014. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Eitzen, Minnesota and enjoyed travelling with Mary Ann to Arizona for the winter months in their camper.
Marcellus died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Gundersen Tweeten Care Center in Spring Grove at the age of 77.
Marcellus is survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 11 AM Monday, November 27 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Eitzen, Minnesota with Rev. Todd Krueger officiating. Burial will be in church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. |
