The celebration of life for Bertha Irene Ramlo will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9 at the Canton –Scotland Presbyterian Church in Canton with Pastor Amy Perkins officiating. Burial will be in the Elliota Cemetery.
Bertha was born May 16, 1916 in Bluffton, Iowa to Walter and Effie McCauley. She graduated from the Burr Oak High School. Bertha married Verl Ramlo of Canton and had two children Robert and Judy.
Bertha passed away Thursday, June 23 at the Tweeten Health Care in Spring Grove at the age of 95.
Survivors include her daughter Judy of Canton, a daughter in-law Nancy Decker of Fargo, North Dakota, two granddaughters Amy of Moorhead, and Sara (Will) Larsen of Philadelphia. She also has two great grandchildren Ellie and Liam Larsen. Other survivors include nieces and nephews, and a brother in-law Ronald Ramlo. She was preceded in death by her husband Verl and son Robert. Also passing before her were three brothers Leonard, Clifford, and Ray McCauley, and three half-brothers Percy, Archie, and Harry Ward. |
