Patricia was born April 16, 1945 in Spring Grove, Minnesota to Arnold and Evelyn (Hermanson) Erickson. She attended country schools. She married Rodney Rollins and were later divorced. She lived in Montana for a short time before returning to Mabel. She had worked at Northern Engraving, WAPSI, Rockwell Collins, and Green Lea Manor Nursing Home.
Pat was a member of the Mabel United Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking for family and friends, helping others, garage sales, and especially her daughters and grandchildren.
Pat passed away unexpectedly, March 17, 2011 at her home at the age of 65.
Patricia is survived by two daughters Stacy Phillips (Paul Adkins) of Decorah, Iowa, and Sherry Rollins (Andy Thesing) of Dorchester, Iowa; Grandchildren Kayla Phillips, Heather Livrance, Stephanie Phillips, Haylee Thesing, Tyler Thesing, Shelby Adkins, Amy Adkins, Trent Thesing, Taylor Adkins, and Tanner Thesing; two brothers Junnell and Dennis both of Mabel; a sister Darla (Bill)Mauer of Charles City, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers David, Joe, Llewellyn, Ardene, and Larry; and a sister and brother-in-law Marie & Bob Muller.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Mabel United Methodist Church in Mabel with Pastor Jeanne Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Spring Grove, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at the church. Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel is assisting with arrangements. |
