Anthony Williams two year old son of Fred and Dennise Williams  died unexpectedly Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in Mabel from injuries received in an accident. 

Anthony was born November 15, 2006 in Decorah, Iowa to Fred and Dennise (Stortz) Williams.  He was baptized at the Mabel United Methodist Church.  He loved helping around the farm and especially riding in the skid loader.

Anthony is survived by his parents; a sister Alexis; a brother Frederick; paternal grandparents Rollis and Beverly Williams of Mabel; maternal grandparents Dean and Deb Stortz; maternal great grandparents Curtis and Martha Rude of Decorah and Erwin and Sue Stortz of Mabel; and aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Mabel First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jeanne Martin officiating.  Burial will be in the Mabel Public Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Friday, August 7 at the Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials are preferred
