Rikki was born September 5, 1990 in Rochester, Minnesota. She attended the North Winneshiek School until 6th grade and then the Mabel-Canton High School where she was in the ‘Class of 2009’. Rikki was a member of the Burr Oak Methodist Church. She enjoyed canoeing, family, friends, band, and sports including volleyball and softball. Rikki is survived by her parents Kevin and Holly (Gossman) McCabe of Decorah; four siblings Alissa of Lanesboro, Kori (Matt Dawley), Dylan, and Carly all at home ; grandparents Lloyd and Colleen Gossman of Decorah and Gary and Carol McCabe of Decorah; paternal great grandparents Don and Helen Stead of Mabel; a nephew Landan; special friend Aaron Wickett; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be 3 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Mabel-Canton High School gymnasium with Rev. Mike Blevins officiating. Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Tuesday, May l 2 at the St. Olaf Catholic Church in Mabel. There will be no viewing at the school. |
