Arlynn was born June 15, 1927 in Amherst Township to Edwin and Anna
(Rongley) Hanson He was baptized and confirmed at the Henrytown Lutheran Church. He was united in marriage to Janice Warber on April 16, 1955 at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Chatfield. They lived and farmed in the
Canton area until moving to Mabel in 1982. He was a member of the
Henrytown Lutheran Church.
Arlynn passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, Iowa at the age of 80.
Arlynn is survived by three sons Eric and Loren of Rochester, and Michael of Mabel. He was preceded in death by his wife Janice; his parents; and a son Curtis.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, January 28, 2008 at the Henrytown Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 4 – 6 PM Sunday, January 27 at the Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel and one hour prior to services at the church.
